As I was going into town today I thought I would have a go at taking pictures of people which is way out of my comfort zone. I was going to sit in the high street and try and blend in whilst waiting for interesting people to pass by.
On my way there I took some shots of a church and heard this voice saying ' you can photograph me if you want to'. He was looking a bit dishevelled and had a cigarette and he was most anxious to tidy himself up a bit (although I would have been just as happy as he was!) before he posed for me.
He then introduced himself and we had a little chat about how people don't have time to stop and chat these days and then I went on my merry way. So, thanks Anthony for brightening my day.

I did try some street portraits but I wasn't comfortable so didn't get anything worthwhile.
