Olio di Piatello

One taste of this olive oil with some crusty bread and I had to buy a bottle. Toni, shown here, owns 110 olive trees in Italy. She brings back the pressed oil in drums to Kent, bottles it and sells it in farm shops and local fairs. Its a very early press and was absolutely divine.

Today was the Bidborough Bake Off cake competition for Macmillan Cancer Support. I also bought and ate a lot of cake, all in a good cause.
