Kendal Fell

Today's the day ............................. to climb the hill

If I look out one of the kitchen windows, I can see a seat up on Kendal Fell - the hill behind the house.

It's nice to know that if things get on top of you, you can be up at that seat in about seven minutes. It was such a lovely day today and I knew that the view from up there would be wonderful.

So this is the view from the seat. The town of Kendal lies nestled in the valley of the River Kent - and the lumpy hills in the distance are the Howgills ....................
