Conkers - clackers!

What a gorgeous September day it's been and a quick ten mins between the office and home took me to Myrtle park to see if there were any conkers underfoot. I know the park of old and know it's a great place for conkering with several magnificent Horse Chestnuts - one of them being a favourite tree of mine. Surprisingly there were loads on the floor - don't kids play conkers any more??? I must admit as a child I preferred clackers to conkers - how did our wrists survive??? Clackers - she's good! :)
