The dredger "Admiral Day" (again), working in Inverness Harbour this evening.
That pink line across the background is a concrete wall that's being cast in sections (in-situ), as part of the River Ness flood alleviation works. Further upstream, nearer the centre of town, it is plain concrete faced with sandstone either side, and will be toped with a sandstone coping. Down in this area it's the cheaper option, and the work's progressing much faster.
Noting the Blip from a year ago, Tesco was in the news today for having "overstated its half-year profit guidance by £250m. (BBC source)" Brings another perspective to that logo on the trailer. Though, like myself, less of us are shopping there these days.
