Stalking

On the way home from school I noticed this heron wadding at the end of the rowing course. I stopped and tried to get as close as I could. This was quite hard on Snowy, so I abandoned him and concentrated on the heron. I like this one as there is a water trail as he takes off.

The highlight of my day was seeing a grass snake on the foot path. Far too quick to photograph (my camera was at the bottom of my bag), so I just watched him slither away
