Goodbye Evissa

We managed to watch a film (Rob the Mob - pretty good!) last night in the same room as Audrey sleeping. I have never known her sleep as soundly as she has on holiday. Makes me think we could cope sharing the same room on holiday after all!

We had one of those awful 'awake all night' nights though - waiting for our alarm to go off at 6.30am. I was stressing about getting stuck in traffic or not finding the car hire drop off place.

In the end it all went swimmingly. Audrey was in a delightful mood and seemed genuinely excited about getting on a plane again (see picture). We made it there on time and we were even the first in the check-in queue! That's never happened before (pre Audrey)!

And Audrey was as good as gold on the flight. She didn't sleep this time but kept herself going with all the things I'd brought for her to play with.

She has really come on this holiday. Her speech is getting so good. The little phrases she comes out with and the way her brain is wired just amazes me! Such a smart cookie. This is by far my favourite bit of motherhood so far.

Home sweet home tonight. Was sad unpacking all the summery clothes I never got to wear on our mainly rainy holiday but hey ho!
