Busy Day

The coffee morning was very successful this morning, and we were thrilled to have raised £300. My Battenburg received many compliments, but it was the chocolate fudge cake that sold out first. I bought up all the leftover cake and took it to my in-laws' care home. They were having such fun when I arrived. They had a large nylon sheet (like a parachute) and a large inflatable ball. You wouldn't believe that such simple objects could produce such shrieks of laughter! It was lovely to hear, and the cakes were well received.
