Spiral stairway

I got to have a wander around a beautiful old building this evening. This is a government department building in Basel's old town by the river. I was there because I thought I needed to show some documents to get a health insurance reduction but it turns out I had read the letter wrong - it was in German - and I only needed to send them a copy. Whoops! Still, I got to see some pretty architecture.

It's been another one of those lovely sunny Friday evenings and it looks like the weather will continue for my trip to Zurich this weekend!
