Not created in an instant

It takes years to get a garden like this, and you have to be very patient. Along with depositing the stuff in your yard it takes a great deal of time for the metal objects (of which there are just a few in shot) to oxidise. It also takes careful placement to ensure that the vegetation grows up and through these objects. The main element though is just time, time, and more time.

I pass this oddity on my weekly Oddysey transecting the city as I walk from west to east. I am impressed with the amount of forward planning that has gone to creating this wonderful and meaningful suburban art installation.
