Clay Cliffs

I received a gift in the form of a paid day off from work today. The Executive Director gave all employees the day off in celebration and thanks for our recent "amazing" review by the department which funds our organization.

My husband and I took this as an opportunity to check out the newly dedicated Clay Cliffs Natural Area, a 104.5 acre property sandwiched between Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. You would think I could have gotten a photograph of one of these 2 spectacular lakes?? Let's just say I am in need of the photography class I am taking tomorrow.

It was a glorious, cloudless day in the 70's! I am feeling so grateful for today's sunshine and the extra day off!
