Turning leaf

I took the dog for a walk to a local park which is looking lovely this autumn.

Had a curious incident though - there is a fenced off area for dogs. I went to let my dog in and a woman with her dog asked me not to enter for at least 10 minutes as her dog was there and doesn't like small dogs. Now call me silly, but it's a public park, anyone can use. If your dog cannot be trusted with others then surely it is your responsibility to not bring it to such places?

My bemused look obviously gave my thoughts away, as I walked away she called me back and said I could now use it.
