Woodland Festival Plas Newydd #Anglesey

MrD was up at 5am and on the road by 6 to take the motorbike to Manchester for a service.

I got up at 6.30 and put some washing on, made soup and had a long chat with my daughter before setting off to the Anglesey Woodland Festival. This is the third time I've been (check blips for last 2 years) and it gets better every year.

Bumped into lots of friends and had a go at making a copper pendant necklace (in the gazebo pictured above) and a simple form of braiding.

Such a lovely event and lots of interesting organizations attended promoting their causes and offering so many things to do - "make your own woodland creature" was so popular that I couldn't get close enough to see what they were doing! I think it involved pine cones and twigs, not parts of real creatures - just to reassure the sqeamish blip visitors!!

Weather is hot and sunny (20 degrees this afternoon) - hope the weather is pleasant for everyone else too :-)
