The Village Phone Box.

However, in this day of mobiles, I-phones, etc. this box is now strictly non functional.
Today I made it back up to visit MaggieD's Mum. As a passenger, mind you, I am not quite ready to get behind the wheel although the car in the drive is positively shouting to me. Lyall and Fiona took MaggieD and I up and it was just great to get out away from the usual area.
Back to the phone-box. MaggieD's Aunt Grace and Mum started cultivating the little plot surrounding the box very many years ago and now MaggieD's Mum carries on the tradition. The box itself is now a bit scruffy but the village society have now got funding to get it spruced up and re-painted.
Off out shortly to a friends house. Should be a fun evening!
