Backyard Sandhill

Our neighbor has at least 6 feeders, and every bird that comes through the neighborhood, including the Sandhill Cranes, stop for a meal.
There were 2 there this morning, and they stayed for at least an hour.
They are so graceful, and very cautious. I took this from inside the house, as I didn't want to scare them away.

Today I am thankful for a day off, a break from the work week routine, and a nice relaxing Saturday. 5 more days until I see my daughter in NJ.
