8 years ago I witnessed a red-faced, round-headed, boy-looking female progeny entering the world <shudder>

Luckily the redness has reduced, the roundness abated and you look more girly now.

A summary for you little 'un:

You have loved today, you've told us this tons :) It started with a breakfast with Matt, Wayne and Reggie, followed by a swimming lesson where you refused to wear your goggles and zig-zagged all over the place. We then went to Bramall Lane to see the Blades win 2-1 against Gillingham where Jamie Murphy scored in the 96th minute and sent the place crazy. You even saw your father jump and dance halfway across the row we sit in much to your amusement.

We then went to a bookshop as you said you really wanted to get a Star Wars book. We ended up with encyclopaedias of Star Wars, Dr Who and Marvel superheroes. You rock!!!!

Then it was off out to eat, and you chose the Handmade Burger Co. Good choice kid. You can't half tuck it away.

Now we are home, Strictly and Dr Who are being recorded, and you are talking to Auntie Sam on the phone. Your favourite gift of the day is a pair of clip-on earrings from a Frozen jewellery set. I see a future involving bling.

Mummy has made you a Sheepy cake and you are dying to tuck in (no idea where the room for it is). It looks amazing.

Bed time soon, you'll be 8 years and 1 day tomorrow so will need a rest before the big day.
