Neptune Festival

Have just spent my first day in Virginia Beach and it has been great! Kelly and Greg, our hosts for the week, took us out for breakfast to a hotel right on the beach.

We then cycled along the boardwalk to a place further along the coast to see the Neptune Festival parade. Tallwood High School had an excellent marching band in the parade, so naturally we cheered the loudest for them.

It is very hot here, over 25 degrees C. Loving it!
