Squirrel Saturday

(First of all, thanks to everyone who commented yesterday and got me on the spotlight!!! Never happened before and don't even know how it happens. Strange because so nearly didn't post the Jesus bugs, and no fiddling with the photo,not even cropped - just liked the patterns and colours. Anyway, THANKS dear blippers!)

Have long wanted to blip a squirrel, but always too quick for me and this camera...

Today, though, had to be. Started with finding a dead one in the flower bed while hanging out the washing - hadn't realised how much red fur there is on a grey squirrel. No marks on it at all - no idea how it died.

Then, walking in Newhall, squirrels chasing each other over the grass, and up and down trees. M threw a conker down the path and, before it stopped bouncing, this squirrel caught it and tore away with it - this was the best I could do before it buried it somewhere and ran off.
