We have lift off!

In the January sales I bought a few nature kits from Sainsbury's for £3.75 - total bargain, especially as they were The National Trust ones!

Thought we'd try out the pond discovery kit today so took the kids to Bedfont Lakes Country Park.

We didn't actually manage to find ANYTHING of interest but I did manage to blip this swan taking off for a flight from the lake.

We are going to try again with the kit tomorrow, hoping a pond in the memorial gardens might throw up some interesting bugs or the holy grail that for us is FROGSPAWN !!!!!
