Time of Reckoning....

..... Reckoning that I needed to get outside and get some gardening done! I absolutely love gardening and being outside and today was just a perfect day for it. Armed with all things cutting from chain saw, hedge trimmer, lobbers, lawn mower and secateurs - it was an interesting day! We chopped, sawed, pruned, cut and eventually had it looking fab. Amazing what you can do from a wheelchair. Where there is a will there is a way!
Throughout the day we had a fire going in the fire pit and we burned as we went along as well as composting.
Finally getting to grips with the recycling arrangements in Argyll and Bute. It's surprising the different arrangements between local authorities. Was really surprised to discover there is no arrangement for uplifting garden refuse. Now I know why the fire pit is so huge. Hadn't worked that out!
