The humble tea bag

Brian & I met up with friends Mark & Alison for a drink in La Tortilla tapas bar tonight and after putting the world to rights we ended up having a discussion about unexpected uses for tea bags (and no, nothing rude and no, we were not drunk).
One handy hint has come from nephew Ian - put a tea bag in your smelly trainers and you get rid of noxious odours...apparently it works! Any other uses?
