I will drive him to the railway station at 8 AM (30 minutes drive ) .. then he will do 50 minutes by train, and a 20 minutes walk.. he will only be back at 3 PM.

It's good for him.. it's his church and he can socialize a bit with other UK expats.
And I get rid of him for a few hours...
