Heron at Conowingo Dam

We went bird watching at Conowingo Dam which is in the lower part of the Susquehanna River in NE Maryland. As luck had it, most of the birds were on the other side of the river so the trip was a bit of a disappointment.

This Heron and one Cormorant were the only two birds that were courteous enough to show their faces...
