Miles Dean had an amazing day today. This morning he got to make blueberry pancakes with daddy (then enjoy them with a lot syrup!). After that we went to the pumpkin patch. It's a little early, but I'm getting worried that at any day I won't have the energy to do anything! So while I'm still feeling OK we went to the big pumpkin patch which has rides, bouncy houses, etc. Miles and Mitch first went on barrel ride...which went so fast! Then the boys went through the bouncy house and bouncy maze...and I haven't heard Miles laugh that much in a long time! Then we went on the hay ride. We were sitting in the first row and the driver turned around and asked Miles if he wanted to help drive! He was so excited and a couple times the real driver even held up his hands and let Miles steer himself.
Then we checked out the animals, went down a huge 'tunnel-slide' and played at the playground and tire mountain before we picked out the pumpkins and sampled the local apples.
This afternoon we went to the park and are just about to eat dinner and watch some Nebraska football. Side note: we saw some Nebraska fans at the pumpkin patch and Miles yelled, "go big red" and they were very excited to shout it back.
Here is Miles before he drove us (and 25 other patrons) around the farm.
