Sunset at Tampat Do Am

We loaded into a taxi in KK and set off for Kudat. It turned out we were sharing the taxi with two others saying with Howard as well as two lovely Chinese women. The journey took about 3.5 hours. We reached Kudat, met Howard and grabbed some lunch before hopping on the back of his truck to ride to the camp.

The place is wonderful, eco-toilets, private rooms, somehow even better than imagined. He then took us down to the restaurant and beach, we took a dip, read, ate. Then took a walk along the beach to the masseur's house, his wife gave us tea and we talked by the fire for a while. The stars here are beautiful and without the light pollution it's possible to see so many.
