Look what I found!

Spectacular find in the middle of the night in the dog garden!
A Puriri Moth, monster wingspan of 15 cm (yes, that's centimetres!!).
This is a moth native to NZ and not commonly seen since they only live for a few days unlike their caterpillars (Huhu grub) which live for 5 years chomping wood!
