The real deal...

Having spent 2.5 hrs on a road bike yesterday, even although I'm very saddlesore (you get used to it I'm told) I was feeling rather pleased with my effort.

And then this happened. In 30 degree heat, a bunch of endurance athletes competed in the Fuerteventura Coast to Coast 90km ultramarathon. On foot!

Hosted by the resort I'm staying in, I could only watch on in complete awe as these guys crossed the line together.

This is the real deal!
