Roses after rain

I wanted to get out into the garden this morning but it was wet with that persistent drizzle that is an Argyll speciality.

This afternoon was a bit brighter but by that stage I was stuck into emails and things neglected on my desk.

When I surfaced though the late summer roses still had rain on them.
