Francis tea rooms, Scarborough.

Now this is a gem for a Sunday afternoon. Located in South street, South Cliff, Scarborough, the Francis tea rooms are just the place for tea and a scone, and a lot more if you want a substantial lunch. What is so good about this place, apart from the food is the decor and the ambience. Forget for a moment that this was once a hairdressing salon and allow yourself to be captivated by the wood panelling and the private space in which to enjoy your tea. A definite Art Deco look about the place with interesting mirrors and objects and very friendly owners. Highly recommended!
