Big Beats

Spent the evening at a very enjoyable birthday party, with live music. The band played a wide range of music - a lot of it from their younger days (which wasn't inapproriate, because this was a 60th birthday party). At times the drummer did look as if he was struggling to keep up! Good entertainment, though.

Interesting effect on the drumstick: I think this was caused by the LED lighting on the band. In the low lighting I had to push the ISO on my compact up to its maximum, but the resulting colour noise isn't so obvious in the coloured stage lighting.
