Seeing double...
... canal bridge 161 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The bridge at East Marton, near Skipton, has a double arch. The second arch appears to have been built on top of the original bridge (constructed around 1800) so that the dip in the busy A59 road could be easier to navigate.
The milepost on the right tells travellers they are 38 and a quarter miles from Leeds along the canal.
