Ceilidh!

Iain MacPhail, musician extraordinary, who a few days ago was playing for the Queen, and Jimmy Frew, President of the St Andrew Society of Rio de Janeiro, at the first of three ceilidhs, two in Rio and one up in Macaé, home of the Oilmen. So this has to be another link to the September Song Challenge, here, and yet again "What a Swell Party this is", as this has been a month of good parties.

We had a great turnout, people from all over, with a wee Brazilian girl demonstrating the Chartreuse and the Sword Dance, a Brazilian piper, also in full Scottish gear, and the family of our one-time Scottish Country Dance teacher, Bade - another Brazilian, who probably knows more about Scottish history and customs than most Scots.
