Rose Hips in the Hedge.
There are so many berries this year, hips, haws, elderberries and sloes are some that can be seen in the hedgerows. Does this mean a snowy, cold winter is on it's way, or is that just an old wives tale? These rose hips are in a nearby hedge. Today I went to Brampton to visit my granddaughter and her family. I forgot to take my camera as it was in a different handbag and I really wanted a blip in that locality. Brampton is quite a picturesque village with many thatched cottages but sadly there were large red posters in prominent places warning people that an arsonist has set light to several thatches and is still on the loose. I just can't understand what sort of person would do such a thing.
