Clematis tangutica

An emergency blip, again catching the last of the day's sun - at the end of a glorious late-summer day - on one of the stars of the garden, a wonderful indestructible clematis that appears to thrive on neglect, producing dozens of these little yellow bell-like flowers. It's been a good but busy weekend - with a feeling that after some difficult times lately, things may - just - have turned a bit of a corner.
