New Sunflowers

Having returned home after three weeks holiday, we expected the garden to be in pretty bad shape.

However, we were delighted that everything is still pretty much ok, with new flowers having bloomed and not many plants have suffered at all.

These particular sunflowers, that were planted by our grandchildren from seed (with the help of grandad of course) have multiplied in our absence. There were only two when we went away.

Even the house plants, which were left in the bath with a few inches of water , have all been absolutely fine. What a lovely surprise!
