Sloe gin

Last year's sloe gin was very dry: I picked the sloes too early, and they weren't ripe enough. This year I almost went too far the other way - I've had to discard some of these because they were turning into sloe raisins.

And yes, thank you, I do have a Joe Bonamassa guitar riff running round my brain like a hamster in a wheel....
