Let's go fly a kite - or not

Still feeling off colour but got up and did some baking this morning with Lottie - one of the years at her school is holding a coffee afternoon for Macmillan this week.

We had a quick lunch and then went to the annual Kite Festival at Heath Common. It has been such a lovely day today but it wasn't what the kites needed - none of the fancy ones we have seen in previous years could fly. There were a few attempts, and lots of families with their kites trying too but it was a bit of a non-event which is a shame.

At least it meant we got home to watch the golf - amazing scenes, well done to Team Europe!

In need of an early night, hoping I feel a bit more with it tomorrow!
