Reworking monoprints

I've had a set of monoprints on the wall that I did way back in the summer which have never felt satisfactorily finished. Today I re-photographed them and used my i-pad to draw on top before monoprinting another layer on the surface of one of them. I feel I messed it up and don't want to do the same with this one. It makes me think of the spraying of sea against groynes on a beach. What next?
