A very successful day; wins for the Jambos and for Europe, a fine dinner of allotment goodies and a pretty successful first outing for my new Jambo cook's apron, handmade by Gwen.

The apron got first dibs at glory, guiding me through a plum frangipane tart recipe. It did a good job! I was following the golf on the radio (actually pretty exciting believe it or not) then had to use my phone to keep track 'cos it was off to Tynecastle. A 4 o'clock Sunday kickoff - ridiculous. However it seemed to suit the Jambos, another 5 goals scored and it could have been 10. Still top of the league. Wey hey!!
