Mr Heron Departs

Had a lovely stroll round the lake at the old gravel pits and as I pushed my way through the overgrowth to get a shot of the lake, I accidentally disturbed Mr Heron going about his business. I'm not sure who was the most surprised, me or him - he took flight and I nearly fell in the water but I fortunately managed to compose myself enough to grab a shot as he did a circuit of the lake trying to find another quiet spot to settle - sorry Mr Heron :-)))
