Spotted in the forest today!
We took our usual walk in Epping Forest today and enjoyed the most glorious weather and clear blue skies There were a few candidates for blip: a dragonfly, a tortoiseshell butterfly and two ladybirds (the British variety) of which I've seen only a few this year.
At first I intended to put up a ladybird sitting on a teasel...until I looked more closely...and saw that it was upside down....and bound with spider web threads! So here is a the one that was definitely alive, albeit sitting on a rather tatty leaf!
No pics for a couple of days , as I've had a cold (ok now) and been rather busy with our granddaughter who stayed over on Saturday night. For those interested, you can see her here, having a chat with Mr MC!
