A gorgeous day that really felt like holiday time :)

Bene's vet story continues........vet managed to get blood sample OK from him, ran the tests and found that his hyperthyroidism indicator is heading in the right direction although is still high. They were however unable to test a urine sample as he refused to comply and pee in the litter tray opting instead to pee on his bed. Had to wait another few hours until he peed again. It seems his urine is quite dilute which can be an indicator of failing kidneys. Decided on doing more tests to check for kidney signs of failure.......no obvious signs of that so that's good. The plan now is to up his meds to try to control his hyperthyroidism better, keep an eye on his weight and general condition and revisit the vet in a couple of weeks to check on progress.

And whilst Bene was cooped up in a little cage at the vets, LB was soaking up the spring sunshine in the garden.

Started to pack up the van late afternoon........looking forward to an early-ish (for me!) start tomorrow morning.
