Thinking of Carol

Mum and I went to our friend Carol's memorial service today. Carol volunteered with the British Heart Foundation for 43 years and it was through her incredible charity work that we got to know her as members of the same committee. Her death gave us a real shock and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol loved gardening, so I thought this photo a fitting tribute to her, particularly as the name 'pansy' is derived from the French 'pensée' meaning thought. Carol and her family are in our thoughts today.
