Police Scotland Day 174, Year 2 - CEDAR Project

North Ayrshire Campus Police Officer PC Jim Brown is involved in a pioneering multi-agency initiative for children and young people who are experiencing difficulties as a result of their experience of domestic abuse. The CEDAR Project (Children Experiencing Domestic Abuse Recovery) provides a 12 week group work programme with activities to support recovery and includes a concurrent group for mothers. Each 12 week programme is run by facilitators and is tailored to the age and needs of the children or young people in the group.
