Pedal Forth

Today marked the launch of the new hire bike scheme in Stirling. The sun shone, the bikes gleamed and the ribbon was cut (by Keith Brown - Minister for Transport). The scheme has been organised and is being administered by Stirling Cycle Hub, I've thoroughly enjoyed been part of the planning process. It is great to see the bikes finally arrive and people out riding around on them!

Our Ashleigh (one of our lovely students) won a competition to design a panel for the back of the bikes, it was a good project for the students to get their teeth into after a long summer of sleep studying very hard. She was presented with a bunch of flowers by the Minister and then posed for photos with Graham Obree and others.

So if you find yourself in Stirling, sign up to the Next Bike scheme and enjoy a cycle around the city.
