Our Daily Bread

Read Psalm 104 today:

You cause the grass to grow for the livestock
and plants for man to cultivate,
that he may bring forth food from the earth
and wine to gladden the heart of man (in the generic sense, I hope...),
oil to make his (or mostly, her) face shine
and BREAD to strengthen man's heart.

As with most days, my husband made his crispy-crusted, extra-wet sourdough bread, and we ate it warm for lunch. The wine will come at dinner time. Love it that God gives us not just what we need for strength, but oil (moisturiser) to make us beautiful, and wine to make us happy.
