In the land of the fungi

Clavariadelphus - a wonderful little fungus that grows under Norway spruce. To find them is like entering a fairytale world.

This is one of two rather common species - the only way to see if it is Clavariadelphus ligula or C. sachalinensis is to check the spore size under the microscope.
