Promise of spring

A daffodil in bloom, as it happens with a miniature conifer in the background. Really needed something to cheer up the grey, dreich gloom that seems to have taken hold of our winter. Mind you, since taking that picture the skies have cleared somewhat and I can even make out the Applecross Forest, 60 miles away.
