Abstract rocks.

I spent some time yesterday doing this little painting....started off trying to do a more realistic image based on a composition of rocks and trees....well that didn't work - so i turned it into this little abstract....did a bit more work on it this morning.

had a kinda weird day.....low energy for no apparent reason.....did some work in the old mudroom and listened to the conclusion of a rather lame book! why did i persevere? and have you ever noticed how many authors use the same bloody irritating image: you know the one.....'he gentle brushed the hair off her forehead.....or he sweetly swept the curl from her brow".....what is it with the hair on a woman's face - drives me nuts!!!

oh well, off to make some tomato/cucumber salad to take to a little dinner get together this evening! should be fun!
