Dangerous beauty.........

This is a a yew berry
It's on a cutting that was stuck in a pot about 8 years ago, during a house move.
This is the first year that it's had berries on it
It seems that it's been gathering all its strength over those years
Growing little by little
Month after month
Surviving drought and heavy rain, battered by winds
Using all that adversity to grow bigger and stronger
Until it blossomed and produced these beautiful, waxen berries, that look like beads strung on the branches
